Blueprints is a series of digital works composed via Photoshop. These photographs were captured from a trip to Berlin and Frankfurt that focused on their iconic modernistic architecture. These images are personal recordings of the landscape to formulate new architectural objects. The abstracted layers fill the canvas in a variety of flat layers, as its location is detached into a white negative space. The digital canvas acts as a kind of artificial mapping to compose a fictional landscape that isn’t grounded. The language responds to the complexity of structural detail that essentially creates a depth of field to the imagery. These powerful monochrome images are to assert a history of wealth and growth devoted in such cities.
